Q. Do you
take orders by phone?
A. Sorry no, we are a
small business and do not have the resources to take phone orders.
This allows us to keep our prices reasonable with no price increases.
Q. Do you accept international orders?
A.
Yes.
through MasterCard or Visa.
Q. In the past other eye patches caused me to
sweat? How about yours?
A. We have added another layer of material to the
padded backing to help alleviate sweating. This added step to quality also
helps the eye patch last many times longer than other eye patches.
Q. Do I need to Specify which eye it will go on?
A. No our eye patches
are made to fit either eye. Therefore If you have double vision, or need to
switch from eye to eye during the day, you will need only one of my patches.
Q. What if
the size I choose is not right for me?
A. Please double check when you order your eye
patch. A used patch cannot be returned or resold due to hygiene.
Q. What is a cord elastic band.
A. An elastic cord is thinner than 1/8 inch elastic and
round instead of flat.
Q. Can I
wear my eye patches under glasses?
A. We can
make the patches fit under the eyeglasses. Choose either Semi-Convex or Flat on
the order form and after printing the order write
any additional information or requests such as "this
is a gift please don't attach the receipt to my order."
Q. How do
I clean my eye patch?
A. Normally the patch should stay clean under
normal conditions unless the patch is a light color. The eye patches are made of
two main components. The outer layer of felt or other materials should be patted
lightly with a
damp cloth only. The inner portion of the patch, elastic band or cord can be cleaned
with a slightly dampened cotton ball and alcohol. (do not saturate the eye
patch) Suede leather patches can be cleaned with a suede
leather cleaner only and the backing cleaned as above. Water will cause genuine suede to spot
similar to a suede jacket. You can also use a battery operated fuzz
cleaner to remove any felt balls that may form over time with felt. (being careful not to
cut any threading on the patch) Remember saturation with water or chemicals will
shorten the life of the eye patch.
Q. What is your refund policy?
A. If you cancel your order before it is sent, your
order will be stopped and a refund will be issued equal to the way it was paid.
If credit card is used it will be credited. If paid by check, it will have to
clear your bank before any monies will be refunded (regardless of the
circumstances.) Internet frauds are constant on the Internet with regard to
returning of funds. No checks will be issued on credit cards. No funds for checks
will be issued until check has clear your bank. If your order has been shipped
of course the order cannot be canceled. If overnight shipping is requested by
the buyer and paid by check, the patches will be sent over night as soon as the
check clears the buyers bank.
Q. What about returns.
A. Since orders are custom made for each individual,
and if the order package is unopened, you may send it back for a full refund provided
there is no damage to the unopened package. We will not pay for return shipping.
Patches will be inspected once the item has been received. If damaged I cannot
refund any monies. If damaged by the postal service they will be at fault for
damages.
Q. What if my eye patch fails within 60 days?
A. Just let us know by email and we will make
**arrangements for a
replacement. You just pay for shipping.
**You will need to send the old patch back so we can
see what caused your failure. Our patches are not indestructible.
With Reasonable care your patches should last many times longer than any store
bought patches.
Never wash your patch in a washer, it will cause a
separation of the materials.
